site workflow

I am creating a Mac news/reviews/etc. stuff website. Just wondering, should I sketch out my site on paper before making it?

I am pretty sure I should, is this how most designers do it?

I photochop something with HTML tables in mind, and then hack it together in DW. Paper is for chumps :D

I never really plan sites on any thing.

I'll come up with a design in my head and then just make that in notepad and modify it until I get a design I like.

Maybe i'm wierd tho!

This site's design (including the new style set) was a combination of that and a vague idea of what I wanted. Just playing around in Photoshop usually gives people an idea and they go from there.

I'm not really a natural arty person. I force it upon myself.
