A nice guide, but after reading your first chapter I skimmed through the rest. Simply because it was hard to read. You should either use forum's formatting tags and contain your text in the post. OR you can create a valid self-containing (all text, css, etc) HTML document with proper formatting for easy reading.

Here's what he originally linked to in another thread. This should satisfy your formatting needs, and then some.

If you check my topic in the Starting Out forum, you'll see that there is formatting -- and a LOT of it. Filbert just said that I had to attach it, not link to it..

Looks good with the formatting :)

You can attach it as a zip or HTML file too...:)

Yes, but this file was local on my machine so it made the most sense to use it. :P (Fred formatted it since I got lazy. ;))

Here's the html file with the CSS imbedded in it. Is this ok Dan? If so, if you like I can replace the txt file with it.

Yeah, that's fine if you want the HTML version instead. :)

Bah, I had to hack the post. When I replaced it with the htm file, it opened up the txt file that was originally there! When I removed it, it wouldn't let me re-attach the file, so I made a link to the attached file I posted earlier.

IMHO the htm version is MUCH easier to read, hence, understand.
