    Hi,

I am looking for a good and simple but clear tutorial that shows me how to access a MySQL database using Flash and PHP. I found several tuts already but they are not clear at all to me. All i want is a very basic explanation on how to achieve the following:
    1. showing data from the database
    2. adding data to the database
    3. edit data from a database
    4. delete data from a database

thats all. Simple not? I guess not .... :tired:

    thanks in advance!!!

This is much easier if you have Macromedia Studio MX 2004 w/ Flash MX 2004 Pro.

That package is designed to do exactly what you describe above.

Without it, you will need to create (or get from www.flashkit.com ) components to access the database - probably using the built-in XML() object structure.
