    Definetly, not a big fan of how its appearing from the corner.... Perhaps have the text fade in?

    Yes, the blue text moves in very erratically. I would centre the 3 lines of type and tween them in from their centre of alignment as opposed to the way they are each individually offset slightly.

    I don't get it... my effect look fine in flash but once I export the movie it looks choppy....

    Try breaking apart your text then combining it back together as symbol. (Just a suggestion.) You could also try substituing a different font to replace the problomatic lines in blue.
