    That is freaky. I've seen a similar one that "chooses" a card from a deck of cards from the deck. I'm guessing it's got something to do with the mouse positioning or the way we operate it or something.

    No, I thought that at first, too... but then I realized that any number that fits into the formula will result as a multiple of 9... i.e. 9, 18, 27, 36.

    If you look at the results, all multiples of 9 (excluding 0, 90, and 99, which will never be a result) have the same symbol, and it changes each time you "play again"
