I am currently updating a pre-existing website that uses Macromedia Flash to develop its interactive menu. However I have noticed that having to constantly decompile the .swf is a vey tideous and time consuming process. Can anyone recommend a programming language or graphic design program that could be used as a flash alternative? viit the link below if you would like to see the specifications of the menu.

    www.tavasystems.com

    thnx in advance.

CSS and Javascript can do quite a bit that people normally use Flash for. However, the problem in this case is that you have to decompile the SWF file when you should be provided with a proper substitute like the .fla file.

Can you get access to it?

Well it's not that simple. Can you give a specific example of an effect or interface you're trying to implement?

(in this context, Javascript, not Java)
