It's working... except iot doesn't go anywhere (I assume you haven't put that in). The sound is a nice touch.. but IMO sound should keep out of web. Maybe turn it down so it's not so noticeable. Nice and clean tho.

It's cool but as with all splash screens, it's functionally useless.

I agree...splash screens are useless, and forcing music on users isn't the best idea. But this is a cool use of those two designing no-no's

If you decide to keep this, I'd recommend putting a link at the bottom that allows users to skip the intro. There's nothing more annoying than having to watch an animation everytime you visit the site. After the second time (if it's a good one) it gets old.

I'll usually do the "skip intro" idea one better and will write a cookie to a user's machine which will automatically skip the intro page each successive time a site is loaded. Mind you, that's just a personal preference of mine.

The other thing you may want to do, as splufdaddy said, is create a toggle button for the music. People hate having tunes forced on them when they're listening to their Jimmy CDs and other recordings. Never interrupt a man's Jimmy. That's just wrong.

I do like the overall animation, although I'd reduce the rotations of the "B" at the beginning. Stuff that moves fast like that can be disorienting.

If I ever design another flash intro (I haven't done one since 1999), I plan on putting a link on the homepage to see it if the user chooses to. That's the only way I see them not annoying people.

Thanks for the advise. I will definately work in the "skip intro " button. As for writing a cookie to skip the intro on successive load.... Well that is out of my league

    Thanks guys!!
