    Hi, a very very basic Flash question here.
    Just using the basic UI progressbar for speed and ease, question is, I can't seem to customize it.
    I am doing something like - dragging the UI bar onto the stage, and then on frame 1 adding the actionscript something like

    mypBar.setStyle("barColor", "0x000000");

    in order to , say , set the bar colour to black. But it's not working and the bar is staying green. I have checked that the instance is named correctly etc. etc.
    I have tried the same technique on a scrollpane background and it worked perfectly , but however I try and customize the progress bar, it doesn't seem to respond and stays as default.
    Any thoughts? Thanks.

    BTW - can you tell me the answer for Flash 8 (which I have at home) and Flash CS3 (which I have at work). ?

    Ah - hang on, I'm having some joy with :

    myProgressBar.setStyle("color", "0x000000");

    which turns the text black. However "barColor" doesn't seem to respond.
