    Hi,

I imported my FLV file into adobe flash and then published for my website:
    http://biteout.ca/margheritacafe.php

The problem is that the videos start to auto load and slows down the loading of the entire page to a unbearable amount.

Is it possible to have the videos not load automatically and wait for the user to push play? Once play is pushed then a buffer starts to load the video?

    Thanks for all your help!

    File>Publish Settings>HTML
Playback: Paused at Start (tick this)

However, im not sure this would stop it from preloading.

If it doesnt I suggest not having the flash object in your html.
When the user clicks a button, use javascript to load the flash object (take a look at jquery and the flash() method...swfobject also works).

If you want the flash player image, take an image and have that image on the area, make it an image map and make the play button clickable...thats the only thing i can think of

There might be an easier way, im very new to flash, however this makes sense
