Hello, well i am using AS3 flash and all i want to do is adjust the brightness of a mov clip. Ive tried to Google it, but there are a lot of complicated ways of doing it. i tried a simple mc.brightness = 0 but it does not work, the brightness code even turns blue. Does anyone know of a simple way of doing it?

    thanks in advance

    Dude,

If ALL you want to do is adjust the MC's brightness then maybe just do it the old-fashioned way, and squint at it harder between screens.

    Problem: solved.

the tint property is just like the brightness and seems to require all these functions along with it to work. i thought this would be something simple =/
