    Hello

I am a Graphics and Animation student, and one of my coursework tasks is to create a storyboard in Adobe Illustrator, then animate it using Flash. First of all it doesn't help that I have no real idea what I'm doing, but I have also struck a major snag. Flash will not let me save my Flash file AT ALL. It claims that the file is read-only, or that it is open in another application. It is not. I have also tried saving it with another file name, same problem. What's going on here? Need help, the deadline approaches and it's hopeless if I can't save my file.

Sounds like you might have a permissions issue with that file. Without opening Flash, see if you can browse to the file and remove any read-only attributes.

I deleted the Adobe settings folder, and now it saves fine. Managed to get the coursework done, I couldn't get tweening or the bone tool to work with the imported Illustrator symbols though, so I had to do everything manually frame by frame :/
