    Hiya - my first post in these forums Nice place you have here.

    I have just started using FLASH (MX) and have, most likely :cheeky: , a newbie question:

    When I make a FLASH movie and upload it, it looks like it have to load 100% before it starts? What I want is it to load the first, lets say 10-30 frames, then start playing. The movie in question stops after 30 frames and wait for the user to read and interact before it continiues..

    Is there a way to sort this?

    I know I can use a preloader, but for this movie, that is not an option.

    Any feedback appreciated

    regards

    Ok....

    Put this as an action in frame 1
    Code:
    if (_framesloaded == 30) {
    	gotoAndPlay(3);
    } else {
    	gotoAndPlay(2);
    }
    And this in frame 2...
    Code:
    gotoAndPlay(1);

    Actionscript is hard to understand if you are the graphics type, but if you know JavaScript its a doddle. So I wouldn't say you are a newbie
