If I'm posting in the wrong section I do apologize. As stated before I'm really a beginner.I bought a flash template from Template Monster (no 13026) It is an Event planning template. I now want to edit the flash template to use my details and information. I want to change the heading "Event Planner" to my name. I edited the psd file in photoshop and saved it but the changes do not appear when I open the index.html. It still has the old details but the psd file has the new details.

What I'm I doing wrong ?? Please help ! Where can I find a tutorial on how to edit a flash template ?

I know it must be a dumb question but I'm trying

    Thank you

You can only edit the Flash if you own the Macromedia Flash software (really expensive).
Most Flash templates use an XML file to allow the clients to edit portions of the content.
Read the documentation that came with your template and let us know if it uses some
sort of external file that you can edit.

I see now that they want to charge $50 to customize the logo. Wow ... that's a tough one
to swallow. Not much you can do without your own Flash software.

Hi the template comes with a flash and non flash version. It has a Source file that contains Clipart, Flash,Fonts and PSD folders.

The site_flash folder contains the following : flash (swf file), contact, contact.php, index.html and style files.

So if I want to use the Flash version of the template I will have to edit the whole flash file ??
So does the editing of psd files relate to the non flash version ?

    Thank you

Moving this to the Flash forum - you may get a better answer there.

    Flash and "non-flash" version?
    Are you sure?

I know they include a whole zipped package of files,
but I don't know if the actual website can be uploaded
and made to work without their Flash. Again, read their
documentation and see if they are allowing you to edit
external files that are used by the Flash presentation.
