    how do I make my flash intro open BEFORE the index page. I dont want it embedded ON the index page but BEFORE!! Please help Nimo

    I don't think it is possible. When you enter the address to a site it automatically tries to find the index.xxx of that folder. In order to do what you are asking I think you need to either put it on the index page anyway or have a JavaScript redirect to the flash intro. This is the only way I know of.

    You either need access to your server files, use JavaScript as Brad said or use .htaccess (correct me if I am wrong about the last one, as I know hardly anything about it).

    just save it within an html document, index.html and change the index page to home.html.

    That the most simplistic way you can do it.

    Yeah but he's going to have a job doing it any other way, whats wrong with embeding it in an html document? There is no real gain not having it embeded? Is there?

    If it's not embedded, it will scale to an uncontrollable size and can be easily saved by the end user. Neither is particurally desirable.

    some browsers will not view it unless it is embeded, others will prompt to download it...
