I've created a form in flash and now when I click on it I want to send it somewhere by email. My lecturer said that you need a database behind it. Isn't there a way to do this like in normal html? Like with a cgi-bin form or something?

Yes you can, it involves the GET URL action. A database is not required.. you suspected right.

Look up the LoadVars() class. That's the Flash MX way of handling HTTP requests.
