    hi guys,

I need some help urgently, any help is greatly appreciated

I really need to draw a teardrop (simple but I can't seem to do it) in Illustrator.

I've tried playing around with circles but with no luck

I just thought I’d write this down just in case someone else should want to know.

glyakk is right, it is really simple to do. Create a circle with the ellipse tool – get the “Convert Anchor Point Tool”, you can select this tool several different ways but I’m not going into that. Anyway, with that tool just click on the topmost anchor point of the circle – get the “Direct Selection Tool” and just drag that point up until you’re satisfied.

    That’s it. Tear shape done.

When I have time I’ll write out a detailed tutorial on this matter. It is quite an advanced technique creating photorealistic water drops that bend the shape underneath but it looks amazing when done properly. I’ll put a tutorial up later today should no one else answer you correctly.
