ok, so i have made an image that i need to either twist and turn, or at least bring the 2 top points in to make more of a triangle shape.

I created a "road" using lines and then expanding those lines, but i just cannot figure it out. I am attaching my AI file AND a finished png of similar images that i am trying to do.

I am fairly new to illustrator and ANY help you could give would be great!! TIA!!!!

if you only want it to have an skew effect, you just work on its achor points of the vector, you can have it cornered once you tweak the vector, or just select the object then right click transform then select shear, you can choose any degrees of angle you want to happen.

Actually there is a cool trick I learned to achieve this. I always wondered why Illustrator didn't have the skew function as Photoshop does, but one day I stumbled onto it.

Go to Effect>Warp>Arc (you can click any one of the warps, it doesnt matter)

Then make the top slider (BEND) set to zero.

Then adjust the bottom sliders either HORIZONTAL or VERTICAL depending on the skew you are looking for. In your case, I imagine you want a positive VERTICAL skew.

    That's it. Skew in Illustrator.

Oh and dont forget to EXPAND it when your done.
