First of all, i'd like to say that I've just started learning and working with Illustration (CS5), and that I know some defenitions from previously working with Phototshop, so you don't have to go in depth to everything in your answer.
Second of all, English is NOT my first language, so I might misspell a couple of times.
    Now to the questions:

    1. I've downloaded an .ai file from here:
And I have no idea where to place it. Do I place it in a folder somewhere in the Illustrator installation folder, or what?

    2. I transfered a black solid color layer (an illustration of a suited man holding a gun) from Photoshop, to Illustrator and Live Traced it with a setting of Color 6 and got some kind of a soft brush stroke on the illustration as you can see here. I was kindda bored, so I deleted the gun and replaced it with a banana (thank you television) I created, and the two layers didn't quiet fit together. So I am asking how can I aplly the same affect to the banana? And yes I've tried live tracing it as I've done with the suited man.

    Thanks in advance
