    Hey guys,

Okay I am redesigning a logo for a friend of mine. Please see attached.

This is what i came up with

    Top image is original
bottom is my interpretation of it

I sent to my friend and he says he likes the version, but prefers his one.

Annndd now my minds gone blank. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to make an outstanding logo?

Personally i think my logo portrays the company better than his but there we go.

Any help would be most apt JB logo.png

try this, use a ultra heavy typeface for the word "heap". Knock out a heap of letter on the inside. I think that would work well.

well for 1 your outlining is too strong and dominates the main colors that you really want to show off, in this case it would be the pink. Like the first one it has a better tone for the gradient, yours is very harsh as well. darken the up upper part of the gradient. however i do not like either ways the heap is, i think you need to find a middle. Plus i would adjust your kerning and tracking on the subtitle, maybe even the location, too.

I'd go with Ramona's as well, just because it looks like a heap.

    Now that's some high-quality just-knows-enough-to-be-real-dangerous-art-critique right there.
