I'm a novice Illustrator and Photoshop user. I've got a championship logo fairly decently recreated, however there is a text section that is curved with multiple enities to it. THE PICTURE IS ATTACHED.

First, I'm struggling to identify what font CHAMPIONS is in?

Second, I'm not sure the best technique to use to get the styling and multiple shadows (?) and additional background strokes that were added. It looks almost like a bevel and emboss from Photoshop, but I'm not sure what technique to use in Illustrator.

Any help or advice on how to curve the CHAMPIONS. I've used the "envelop" technique, and its as close as I could get, but I'm sure someone with more experience knows better, as it still needs to be adjusted.
