    have just starting learning flash, and was wondering how people tween images

    Click on the image and hit F8 to make a symbol out of it. Then you can tween it.

    TIP: if you're going to be tweening images a lot in flash, here's a little trick that not many people know about. ALWAYS put the bottom right corner of the image at the insert point of the symbol. This is required for exact placement, because there's a pixel shift bug in Flash.

    TIP 2: When tweening images in flash, always do a mathematical count of your _x and _y changes per frame. You always want it to be a whole number over the course of the tween. For instance, if your tween is 30 frames long, make sure your _x displacement is 300px or 330px or such. Otherwise, your tween will look odd.
