I've just made a logo from an image, but now i want to make sure that when i resize it, i don't lose any quality. I heard somewhere that if you save it as an Alpha channel, it can be imported as a Vector object....or something like that. Is there any way i can convert what i done in Photoshop to a program like CorelDRAW or Illustrator?

If you used the paths to make it, you can export it as vector artwork. Otherwise, I believe you cannot.

Damn, well is it still possible that i could make it a Vector image from the Alpha Channel? Perhaps by following the paths from that image.

there is hope! You can select the alpha channel, and convert the selection to a path. Let me know how that goes.

EDIT: ah, you're asking because of my avatar. It's from a self-portrait I sketched almost 10 years ago: http://www.stevenmoseley.com/galleri...f_portrait.jpg

I tried converting it, but it didn't convert as well as i'd have hoped. I guess since many parts of the actual piece are round, it would end up coming out more cut off. If i find the base image again, i'll have to try it all out again sometime.

Well if its not to complex, you could vector trace it.
