    well, i guess I've pretty much said it all in the subject haven't it!? When you do the hot wax effect in PSP7, does the effect it gives depend on the foreground and/or background colors selected in the color pallett???? Or will the outcome be the same regardless?

    i believe it is only black because when you apply it to a black object regardless of the foreground and background colour it does not change.
