I am asking for a link to a tutorial or ideas on how I could easily create an arched, dashed line. For example, like on some websites, they have like two frogs and a dashed arched line to show that one frog is jumping over the other. Check out http://www.google.com/holidaylogos.html and go down to the "Leap Year" logo and imagine a dashed, arched line behind the frog jumping the other frog. I have tried a couple ways but I don't know how to get it right. I know this sounds confusing but maybe the example will help clear my words. Thanks for the support.

Using the 'Line tool' draw out a horizontal line... make a dashed pattern on a seperate canvas out of columns of black and white, then define it. Return to the line you previously drew and apply a layer mask, here you fill it with the pattern made earlier.

Create a new layer, hold alt and do layer > marged visible. Rotate the rasterized version on its side and apply whatever distortion you want i.e. Shear, then simply rotate and scale into position.

I've attached a crude example (assuming this is what you meant in your post?

Ahh, I can't seem to get it correctly. Im having difficulty applying the layer mask to the line. I have to go to layer-add new layer mask and it fills the background then. I put the line to be dashed on a new layer. I can't seem to get it right..Any suggestions?
