Welcome to the WDF! Depends on what you have available to you. Does your web host support PHP or ASP?

There are many ways to make an image slide show. PHP and ASP deal to do with your web host, not your software. But, I do not know how to do it with either PHP or ASP. So, these will work regardless (though they are probably not the most efficient)...

The easiest and most inefficient way to make a slide show is an animated gif. You can do this in ImageReady (it comes packaged with Photoshop). Your next step up is a very basic Flash movie. This will allow you to do fades and effects.

I have an eye for detail like you'd never believe.

Not sure if you found the answer to this, but you can download dreamweaver extensions, they are free. Do a search for slide show.
