Hey all, i've been browsing these forums and damn loads of other sites to get myself into web design. And After a lot of reading i have come up with a layout for my site.

Now i know for some its not too professional but its just a personal site and I created the logo ( which I think is quite nice!! ) and wanted the site to be styled around it.

Anyway, opinions, tips a criticisms are more than welcome.

I was going to give one of my usual long-winded reviews. But, when I tried to search for photography, my browser crashed, so this will be very short (for me).

    Logo: Beautiful.

Advice: Sans Serif fonts. Minimize scrolling. Fix whatever made my browser crash.

    ...Sans Serif fonts.
I'd actualy go against that and recommend you stick with a serif based font like you are already doing. If you were to use a sans-serif you'd lose a lot of the characteristics, styling and interest that makes the design work.

I would however suggest that you used something down the lines of 'Georgia' or 'Times New Roman' as these will be on the majority of all peoples computers.

Thanks one and all you are all helping me a lot. I can understand the font issues, but as I have always thought that its the overall feel of a site that keeps me interested and I felt that it suited the dark layout and style, this will be changed soon, I am just working on the coding at the moment, and work is taking too much time away from my web design heehee

But thanks peeps for your comments!
