No, I don't work for Macromedia. But Macromedia products are extremely easy to come by. I'll just leave it at that.
Photoshop. It rules. Simple.
The thing is, the capabilities of PS far exceed FW. PS just has more style, more capability and more potential. If you want to take design seriously, IMO, PS is a must in the program set!

If you know where to look, anything is "easy" to come by.
I'm not sure why you would feel like it was neccessary to let us know that you use pirated software, but nonetheless it's illegal and something that isn't really talked about on these forums.
Many of the professionals here pay for their software, bottom line.
Fireworks & Flash?
Hi,
I am currently learning to use Flash/Dreamweaver & Fireworks and am wandering if it worth me undertaking a course in Photoshop. I would be most grateful for any comments. My objective is web design.
Thanking you in advance.
I use Photoshop to create all my images, but i use Fireworks to optimize for web, as well as slice, etc. Fireworks is specifically made for that purpose, and it's easy to learn.
Of course, you could say the same for Adobe Imageready (which comes with Photoshop), but i've never used it.
I will use Photoshop's "Save for Web" export if i just need something fast.
Photoshop can do everything fireworks can do, and more.![]()
