For some reason, Dreamweaver MX does not upload images when Im uploading a file.

Does anyone know why?/Is there a place in the settings of the program where I can make sure this is done?

    Thx
    S

When uploading, there should be a dialog box that asks whether you want to upload dependent files or not. This would include images or any files linked to from the file you're uploading. I didn't find it in Preferences so I checked the help file and it talks about the dialog box but doesn't say where to turn the feature on/off. Hopefully someone here can tell you where it is. I got the dialog box when I uploaded for the first time after installing but checked "Dont't ask me again" and haven't seen it since. I don't use the feature but it might be nice to know how to turn it back on if needed. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Can you take a screenshot for us? Then it will be easier to come up with a solution for what you're talking about.

You probably want to look in the Site Preferences, as I believe this is a per-site option.

If his <img src> link is to an outside site, beside his comp. files, it definitely won't show up..IDK if this is what he's talking about or not, I can just assume

True, but if there were pointers to local files that could be fixed by changing the relevant ones to external files, then it's probably something possible via relative links. I see your point, though.

I agree, good point...If he ever uploads a screenshot, we'll have a more definite look! :cross-eyed: :classic:
