I am looking for a new futuristic font to drastically improve a website (http://www.webdesignforums.net/showt...2050#post72050), so i dragged a few off a futuristic section off a font website...

Please do not vote for 1 of them for the sake of voting, if you do not like any please say so and if you can suggest a better font please do so

    thanks guys :classic:

I said #8 because it's the most ledgible IMO. There are a few I like though, and it would just depend on how you used them that would make or break the font.

    I voted #6, but it's a toss-up between that and #8 for me.

Actually, i don't like any of them. I'm not a fan of all-caps, and the spacing sucks on all of them.

If you use 6 or 8, play with the spacing. Maybe explode it in illustrator and customize it.

Planet Kosmos (that's the font in #3 I think) has been over used and abused. I'd go with #8 on this one.

I agree with transio. None of them really look that good. The spacing is too narrow (other than in #7) and they're all too weird and out there looking in a Tommy Chong "I'm gonna sit down at my computer and smoke a Thai stick and see what I can DO, man!" way.

If you want futuristic, check out the stuff on Larabie Fonts. A lot of the stuff is just plain whacked-out on his site, but when you find a good font of his, you can use it over and over and over again. (That, and he's a Canadian, so some of the dry wit used in the naming and samples of his fonts may go over most people's heads.)
