    Good day,

I've created an autorun CD with a software called "Visual Autorun", on my Athlon 1.6 mhz w/Windows XP & it works fine. I tested it on a PIII 900mhz w/Windows XP & it worked perfectly. I then tested it on my sisters PIII 600 mhz w/ Windows 98 & it didnt start up. I had to manually go to "My Computer" & run the file. Would anyone know why this problem would occur, and is there a website or tutorial that would help me with this?

    Thank you

Autorun could just be disabled on the other computer.

I have had the same problem so what I did was---> just added a note to my CD that tells my clients what to do if auto-run does not work.

A lot of people (myself included) will disable Autorun simply because we don't want to run the setup program or whatever the autorun is designed to execute the vast majority of the time. So I'd agree with foodbiz's suggestion. Do both a print copy (you could even make is part of your CD liner notes) and a TXT file burnt onto the CD for the autorun-challenged.
