Anybody have a good tutorial on this.

I have a large image, I want to cut some of the pic away in the shape of a triangle (with extremely smooth edges), can't find a tutorial on this alone.

    Thanks for any help.

Do you want to end up with a picture that has a triange hole in it, or a picture in the shape of a triange?

I use PS more than fireworks, but if you want a picture that has a triange shaped hole in it, here's a quick and dirty way: Using the pen tool, make a triangle on your image that's the same color as the bg you're using. If you want a picture in the shape of a triangle, I can't help you out off the top of my head. I haven't reinstalled Fireworks since my format last week. :ichatblush:

Drag guidelines into the dimensions of the triangle you want to make. Then use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to select the triangle area and hit Delete. That will cut the triangle out. Or, alternatively, hit ctrl+c / ctrl + v to copy the triangle shape onto a new layer if you want to single it out.
