All modern ones can, IIRC. I think even crusty ol' Nutscrape 4.
Hmmm. I may start using it in place of GIF then if compatibility goes back to the "4"s.
IE doesn't render PNG transparency correctly, though. I'd stick with GIFs for now.

Well, IE does but you have to use some proprietary MS filters (I posted a tutorial about it here). Now if PNG supported animations that would be heaven. Compuserve is too anal about licensing now with GIFs which is why many freeware scripts, including PHP, don't support their authoring,
