I created a glossy image by using the tutorial
It is a single image and I want to use it as a background image for ASP.NET 2.0 Menu control (vertical menu). In fact, I want to use it for each menu item (background image). I did it using CSS but the area of the menu item where menu text is written, there, the upper layer ( the one with lighter shade) stretches to the height of text. What should I do ? It is looking very bad. Is there any other way as I am not a web designer and is doing my academic project ?
