has anyone else got business cards?? I mean, is it really such a good idea for a freelancer?
It wouldnt really increase your profit. Unless you were an established business. Shouldnt, you go for the more inexpensive ways of advertising? just a thought.

    anyway, its looks cool.

Business cards arnt needed but they make you look good givin em out to people. Not to mention the chicks .

I got my first client from my teacher, I was showin my friend a site i made in class and he walked over and i showed him. Next week he walked up to me and asked if i would like to make one for his gf :P. Even though i knew nothing about design back then i still made one that sucked for $200.

I have cards. They're always a good idea. A good salesman is always selling (on the street, in an elevator, at breakfast). A card is a way for someone to remember you when you sell yourself to them.

By the way, Grommet... your card is just "too much". Tone it down. Make the information easier to navigate, and make it more legible. Simplicity dominates when it comes to biz cards.
