    Fireworks to Dreamweaver problem

Hey I had a question about Fireworks and I hope it's ok to post it here. Basically I'm exporting some simple rollover text html/images into dreamweaver and when I put it in, there is white all around it. The canvas is transparent in fireworks and I've even tried making the slices transparent. Not sure what's causing this. I've included a screenshot to see what I"m talking about. I've tried googling and don't see anything regarding this. I'm using Dreamweaver and Fireworks CS5. I'm putting the Fireworks HTML image into a random AP Div I created for this little "navbar". I made sure the AP Divs background was also transparent or at least what seems to be transparency in the CSS rules screen for the background of that div.Take a look and please help.

Are you saving the images from Fw as PNG? If you export as JPG, you'll lose the transparency.

Ronald is correct, you need to save it as PNG or GIF, Jpeg files add a white background where if you design with Transparent BG and save it as a PNG it will remain transparent
