    Hello,
I made a new logo for my site and I started out using a transparent background. When I previewed it in Dreamweaver (I made the image in fireworks)around the edges were these white specks, like it copied white around the image. Before i upload it to my site, I was wondering how to get the white specks off from around the sides of the image?
    Thanks!

I'm betting you have a black background on your page. What you're seeing is antialiasing; the image was designed for a white background, so when you cut out the white, there are still light pixels around the image itself.

I'd suggest using a different format and including the background in the image itself. Otherwise, the edges of the image will be jaggy. PNGs would be an idea solution but IE doesn't properly support them.

Erm he made it in Fireworks, not Photoshop.

You could try putting a 0.1px Gaussian Blur on the image to AA it...
