How do I take a file from Photoshop and have the transparency supported into Illustrator???

I know I'm supposed to make a path and export that, but how would I make a path out of rasterized type and have it be crisp??

    transparency support...

I've never liked using illustrator for text, most of the time I prepare everything in illustrator and then export it to photoshop for finishing touches like text.

Try using a mask on the text and then use your spray to soften the edges. It won't be as sharp, but at least it won't place it with a white background. I hate that white background.

    Sorry I can't help more.
