    Hi,

When looking at the new Web Agent 007 site (http://www.webagent007.com) I notice there is an effect on the splash page in the background. It kind of looks like crinkled paper / battered metal (I know the description is pretty poor but there we are) and I am wondering how you would get this effect? It's clearly not a pattern but it does give a lot of life to the pages.

A similar effect can be seen on the splash page for Pixel Ranger (http://www.pixelranger.com) on the inner grey bars.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thanks

Thanks, the link is good; I was kind of hoping for something I could use in Fireworks? I don't know if that's possible. Are there any more tutorials that anyone knows of?

    Thanks

I doubt it, fireworks tutorials are very limited on the internet.

Why doesn't Adobe buy Macromedia and get it over with? That way, we can buy ONE "web collection" and have all the software we need.

After being a predominately Fireworks user...I have recently been doing pretty well with photoshop7 BUT i have noticed I still have to open the final .jpg in fireworks to optimize it for the web...! Perhaps I can do this just as well in photoshop but I can't seem to get the smaller file sizes so for now I'm double-dipping..

That webagent007 site rocks by the way! IMHO opinion they have beat out 2advanced's latest version...

ohh man did I bring up 2advanced in here...geez...!!
