    Hi peeps,

    I have an aerial image of some buildings that I need to identify by putting the mouse over the building on the image and have a baloon appear with a description.

    Anybody know whats involved in doing this? I am OK with HTML but never done any FLASH (if thats what's required)

    Cheers,

    The Newbie

    Hmmm, thats way more work than you need to do. Just add some invisible buttons and a little AS. There's also a tutorial for that on
    Kirupa.com
    Here's where I've used it if your interested in seeing it in production!

    If you can slice your image up so each building is it's own image, you can just use the TITLE property when defining your image:
    Code:
     <img src="building1.jpg" title="this is building one" height=...>
    More information is available here. You can see an example of this in action by mousing over the awards next to my name. These were done using the ALT property, but according to the link I posted the TITLE property is better for tooltips. Mousing over the awards in Mozilla brings up nothing because ALT is used, but IE renders it. Mozilla would render the TITLE property though. Hope this helps.
