    Here is the other image from the same restaurant.

    I took the picture of the food and used Photoshop to decorate. The 'watery' background is an actual image of the restaurant's wall.

    Photograph is a little dark. Lighting is a very important factor in good photography.

    I think the may need a contrast adjustment, they look a little dark, as others have said. Also, maybe the first one needs to be sharper - they look good to eat though

    Also, for the second one, more detail is needed. If the food were a little closer, I think the sauce that's on the plate would look more decorative, and less like an accident. They look delicious though.
