    i want the header of the page to load quickly, but still have a good quality. So far the only thing i can think of is to splice the image.

    any suggestions?

    Even with two header on the page I find it load quite quickly already.
    Don't think there'll be a problem on speed.

    **by the way, I think the image for "verus media" looks better.***

    The headers load quiclky but your page loads slow because you content is an image too, once you get the content into text form you should have no problems with loading times.
