    I want to start learning flash, but I don't know where to start. Do I have to buy some software to do the flash in, if I do how much does it cost? Hope someone can help.

    You have to buy Flash itself (Flash MX). About: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/ . You can also get a product called Swish that supposedly makes Flash design easier: http://www.swishzone.com/index.php

    You may be able to find an academic version. Also I think Macromedia offers 30-day trials of all their MX products.

    yeah they had trials but then you gotta pay...swish is cheaper though....ALOT cheaper lol, you might be able to find it like at ebay or somthing for cheap....

    Well what can I say, it's designed for professionals to use at work (i.e., for businesses to buy). You'd be surprised though how hard it is for NASA just to buy Visual Basic. I was able to get my $2300 G4 though in a week or so

    www.flashkit.com has a lot of tutorials and sound effects and good things of that nature. It's where I learned.
