    Hello,
I have tried to create curvy lines in Photoshop, but when I do, it always drags the color with it. I have attached a screenshot below. All I want to know is how to make the lines curve. I have tried making the anchor points and all that, but it still does the same. Maybe its something that I have set in the options, but I don't know what it is.

    Thanks for your help!

What you end up doing is creating shape layers, What you want to do is just create paths. There is a quick fix, at the top of the screen befor you start making your path with the pen tool make sure you are in make paths mode and not shape layer mode.. (figure1.jpg). This will add a layer to your paths pallet, (figure2.jpg). You will see it named 'work path' in italics.. double click the layer and rename, that will prevent wierd problems later.

The path pallet is where you store vector art in photoshop.

Do note these screenshots are from photoshop 7.
