    Hi guys im working on my first ever flash site and really picking most stuff up as i go i just wanted to ask one question.


    My timeline runs at 30 fps i want to import a movie clip of an animation that runs at 80 fps, when i put this in the main timeline will it still run at 80 or now run at 30 ?
    Whats the matter the CIA got u pushing too many pencils ???

    MovieClips have independant timelines. That is, they're not bound to the _root timeline because they are executed in a separate thread. I've never actually done this, but I believe it will maintain its own FPS, too.

    Negative. The clip you import will take on the fps of the parent movie. The same is true with the loadMovie command.

    The child movie will play at the parent movie's fps.
