I have recently found out about the affiliate program network, and I was wondering if someone was acquainted with such systems.
I mean for business purposes (software selling).

Are these affiliate program network hard to set business?
Are they providing users with their affiliate program or do they involve the already set one?
Are they effective at all? Is there any sense to join them? If so, which one to choose:

    - Clickbank
    - BidVertiser
    - Copeac
    - AdToll
    - Shareasale
    - Forex-Affiliate?

    Thanks in advance.

Personally have never had a need for them, but investigating them in the past for some clients, was not impressed with what they had to offer.

What exactly are you looking to get out of joining ? Are they promising to drive traffic to your site, or sell your products ?

There are all kinds ( have been ), but some have different goals than others.

I've used a couple on your list, but only ever seen a check from ShareASale. Mind you, most of the basis of that check comes from one specific affiliate program catered to one specific site I own and I had to do some programming to get their datafeed to work with my site the way I wanted it. It's usually easier than that, but for my purposes it became more difficult (a few hours worth of work building a customized data scraper).

Bidvertiser's basically an Adsense wannabe that will get you about 10% of the income. If you're going to use it, you might as well apply for Adsense if you have an even halfway decent site.

Forex...I avoid that like the plague. It's right up there with hawking vitamins or get-rich-quick schemes to me.

    Clickbank...see Forex.

Copeac and AdToll...no real knowledge of either.
