    The common sources for generating forum and thread links has changed its format to use a flat file system emulation rather than a PHP script (which vBulletin is). A side effect other than maintenence reasons is that a virtual directory structure is now emulated. If you experience any problems that have suddenly started as of this post, please click the "Suggestions" link at the top of each page.

    With Safari, the header image does not appear on thread pages.

    Does:
    Code:
    <base href="http://www.webdesignforums.net/" />
    ...appear in the generated code for such pages?

    Yup. All the other images and links work. It's probably a Safari bug.

    Is it a new version of Safari? Also, what is the exact URL of a page that causes the problem?

    Maybe Safari doesn't apply the base href to references inside CSS files (which is bad because WDF is heavily reliant on CSS).

    BTW I tweaked them again for a general case (PHP files that appear to be in one of the virtual directories), so post if any new problems still occur.

    http://www.webdesignforums.net/sitew...ons_17275.html is one example, though any thread page (using the new link format) has this problem. Forum pages work fine. I am using Safari 1.2.4 (v125.11).

    I updated the regular expressions to be a bit more strict for internal reasons. If you suddenly encounter new errors, please report them.
