    I have optimized the queries used on some pages. Some pages, namely viewing a thread and Today at WDF, should load much faster than before. If you see a difference, or even if you don't, please let me know by replying to this thread.

    If you can find a specific page that consistently loads slowly, even when the others load quickly, please post its URL.

    I find that the private.php page when sending a message loads extremely slowly - It took 3 or 4 attempts to send you a PM a few minutes ago:cross-eyed:

    Before your chnage filburt I noticed viewing threads was slow, but now that problem has ceased.

    If leaving reputation, sending a PM, posting an announcement (not that you can test that) or replying to a thread takes a long time, then it is tied to notifications. It would not make any sense, though, because it uses at most two queries to fire a notification and neither is particularly complicated.
