    http://www.webdesignforums.net/

I added a forum list to the index page.

The list is also collapsible / expandable. I'm going to add cookies to remember your preferences and only show the forums you're interested in by default.

These settings will also carry over to the forumhome page (http://www.webdesignforums.net/forumhome.php), which will also have collapsible forums.

    :-)

I noticed this as well. It took me a surprising long amount of time to find the forum, I am so used to clicking the 'Continue to forums' button

My walk through this website is always the same. I come to http://webdesignforums.net, if I have any PM's I read/respond, if not I jump straight to the New Posts. If I see any threads (which will most likely belong in the Programming boards) I trot along to there and try and post a solution/help the poster.

    It's a simple life.

Ok, well as a forum user, I always hated the "Continue to Forums" link. I thought that by adding the index to the homepage, that's less necessary. I guess I was wrong!!! I think I'll make a more noticeable link on the list at right.

BTW, I never use ANY of the built-in functions of any of the forums I belong to.

I have bookmarks two set up so I can find new posts and posts that I've participated in.

    Here are my WDF bookmarks:

    http://www.webdesignforums.net/search.php?do=getnew

    http://www.webdesignforums.net/searc...ley&do=process

I click them a few times a day to get recent content. :-)

Hm, clicking your bookmark is just the same as clicking New Posts, is it not?

I dont mind the changes you made I spent at least a minute collapsing and expanding those links!

It's exactly the same as clicking new posts, but I can do it from my browser. One less click (I don't have to come here THEN click new posts).

PS - At some point, I'd like to make a completely configurable homepage, kind of like "iGoogle", where you can put the things you want to see in your home page and get just that info every time you come back.

    :-D
