This is a very-much-in-advance warning that new rules will be coming in a month or so, or possibly sooner. They include, among other things, a clause stating consent to any additional rules that may be drafted, even after you join. Another critical clause is that by registering, you explicitly agree to the rules.

If you do not feel that you could agree to the new rules (mostly they're the current ones with just a little more protection against spammers and such), then please clear out your profile via http://www.webdesignforums.net/emptyprofile.php and log out. Be warned that when the new rules are implemented, you would have implicitly agreed to them.

I know it sound somewhat strange, but as I said before, the rules are mostly the same with just some extra protection clauses. Currently everybody who's posting and everybody who has posted in the last few months and still has an active account fits within the new rules that are being drafted.

What kind of new rules? Anything like uber harsh? Like If I lick someone I'm banned for life? :P
"I'm lazy and damn proud of it!"

"I saw a car one day, I drove it home, and now the cops are after me for some strange reason."

It's nothing that bad, just explicit rules for the ones already implied mostly. Certainly nothing that could get you banned the way you're posting now.
