    I'm in the process of overhauling the [code] tag such that it word wraps at 80 chars, among other things. Simple as it may sound, it's been an hour already and it's still adding random code by itself. Given that it's 1:27 AM, I'm going to work on it tomorrow

    In the meantime, some code might have stray "<br />"s in it. In the meantime I recommend that you attach all code.

    it's annoying at any resolution. I'm interested to see how it's going to look, though...

    Don't you think you'd be better off just using courier font instead of using the <pre> tag so it wraps automatically?

    That way, when someone copies and pastes the code, it won't have extra carriage returns in it.

    I think it would be cool if you just used courier font and replaced spaces with &nbsp;

    That would retain all the formatting, but wrap

    That's mostly what I'm doing. The hard part, though, is counting 80 characters but assuming each entity is a single char. Right now it's wrapping at 80 chars or sooner, not 80 chars exactly.

    I set the code tag back to its default behavior.
